Set Sail on a Fishing Expedition in Corolla and Outer Banks, North Carolina

Both saltwater and freshwater fishing are long traditions in the Outer Banks of North Carolina, providing sustenance and pleasure. There are lots of different options for getting out on the water. You can hire a charter boat to take you into the backwaters or surf fishing out on the open sea. Or, you can explore the several Outer Banks fishing marinas located throughout the north, in Hatteras, and in Ocracoke. For fishing out of Corolla and the Currituck Banks, try the ocean and the sound. What might you catch? It depends on the season. Bluefish, sea mullet, croaker and pompano have come up on the line.
